Dette er vår mest eksklusive kaffe. Det fantes 350 kilo av denne kaffen i verden, og vi er de eneste som har litt igjen av denne. Vi har igjen 40 kilo totalt og kommer til å roaste denne i Juni. Vi har kunder på venteliste for å få denne. Vi holder dere oppdatert når litt av den kommer ut for salg.

GUATEMALA

Elegant, fruity, juicy, SEXY! We really can’t find words to describe this coffee. It is an experience in itself! This nano-lot grew in finca La Montanita between 1770 and 2000 meter above sea level.

José Humberto Gonzalez is already the fifth generation of coffee producers who put heart and soul in Finca La Montanita. The farm passed on from generation to generation. He took over back in 1984, and that year he planted a couple of varieties like Pache San Ramon, yellow Catuaí, Caturra and Bourbon. He dedicated his time an energy to farm improvement and experiments with varieties and cultivation techniques to combat the changing climate conditions.

The traditional ways of coffee production were already made impossible by the climate then. Because of the high altitude of the farm, the coffee plants actually naturally adapted themselves! Humberto discovered a mutation of the regular Pache (Pache Común or Pache San Ramón) on his farm, which he called “Pache Colis”. Colis is the name locals gave to the town of Mataquescuintla.
